Experience and Qualifications
Rebecca Ghanadan is an executive and professional development coach, with fifteen years experience in energy, technology, and international development industries. She has contributed as a scientist, social scientist, and leadership consultant and coach. Rebecca’s unique vantage is in combining background in technical and human capability development. She regularly leverages the two in working closely with scientists and engineers in a range of topics and levels in expert organizations. She has also worked extensively in international teams.
Rebecca has published in the journal Science. She has led social research on process and outcomes in expert organizations. She has served as an adviser on scenarios and visioning in technical organizations. Rebecca coaches professionals from high technology, life sciences, software, and academia. She also serves as adjunct faculty in the year long New Ventures West Professional Coaching Certification Program in San Francisco.
Rebecca holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Energy and Resources from University of California Berkeley, a B.S. in Chemistry from Oregon State University, and is a Certified Integral Coach from New Ventures West. She is Hogan Assessment certified. She regularly consults with MetaSkills Consulting Group, a Hogan distributor and Hogan Master Trainer organization on the West Coast. Rebecca has participated in assessment and leader development processes for high-potential leaders. She also provides Hogan feedback sessions, as a stand alone service or as a part of a coaching program. Rebecca is based out of Berkeley, CA where she has a private coaching and consulting practice. She worked with private institutions, consulting companies, government agencies, universities, and non-profits prior.
